Sex, Pies and
Idiot Scrapes The episode starts with St Patrick's day. The Irish and English parts of town start fighting, and Homer gets arrested. At a bail bondsman he meets a bounty hunter and decides to take up this new trade. Ned Flanders becomes his unlikely partner, until homer's reckless ways causes Ned to leave the partnership. Ned then has to hunt for Homer, who skipped on his court date for the original arrest. In the mean time, Marge's cakes get stolen by orphans, but returned to her b an Irish cake shop keeper. He invites her to work for him. As it turns out, his cake shop is an erotic baker, and Marge has to hide a part of her new job for the family Lost Verizon Bart wants a cellphone so desperately that he starts digging out golf balls at the court, to resell them. In stead he finds Dennis Leary's phone. Dennis Leary tells Marge that Bart can keep the phone, but she should turn on the tracking device. When Bart finds out he's being spied on, he puts the tracking chip on a bird, who then flies to Machu Pichu. The family chases the bird while Bart stays home alone Double, Double, Boy in Trouble In a Springfield version of The Prince and the Pauper, Bart meets his millionaire doppelganger Simon Woosterfield. They switch places, And even though Simon starts out miserable he quickly turns happy and with Bart it's the other way around. Simon's half brother and sister are planning on killing him, which is why Simon wanted to switch with Bart. Lisa makes Simon confess and the family travels to Aspen to save their boy. Treehouse of Horror XIX This year's halloween ep starts with Homer going to the voting booth, trying to vote for Obama, but the computer counting his vote as McCain Then, in a transformers parody, Lisa's christmas gift turns out to be a transforming robot, and a war is waged in Springfield. Marge gets them to work together, but only to enslave humanity. In the second story Homer becomes a Celebrity killer so that they can be used in advertising for free. However their spirits wreak their revenge. Lastly, in a Peanuts spoof, Milhouse's belief in the grand pumpkin makes it real, but when it realises that so many pumpkins are killed and cut up, he wants revenge Dangerous Curves While on a trip to Kozy Kabins, Marge and Homer remember earlier phases in their marriage which took place in the same resort. They met Ned and Maude Flanders there, who were on their honeymoon and keeping Marge and Homer apart because they weren't married yet. They were each tempted to cheat on each other at this place, but saw each other and spent the night together. On this trip, they find out they were tempted before, which puts a strain on their marriage, but they work it out as they always do. At the same time, the kids go out in a pedal car, where they have their own relationship issues. Homer and Lisa Exchange Cross Words When Homer can't get a lemonade without paying for it from his kids, he goes to Moe's, where he breaks up with Skinner for Mrs. Krabapple, so she would buy him a beer. He realises he's very good at the delicate break-ups and starts a business in it, until he is chased in a dream by the relationships he killed, the babies those couples would have made and the antiques they would have bought. In the mean time, Lisa solves a cross word puzzle at the license registration office so that the desk clerk would serve the people, and becomes addicted to it. She even enters a championship for it, in which homer bets on her, but when it comes to the final round she admits to homer that she always messes things up, so he changes his bet to her opponent. Sure enough she loses because of a cheap trick, and Homer gets the money. When lisa realises this, she sees him no longer as her father, until he sends her a message through the New York Times cross word puzzle Mypods and Boomsticks In this episode, Lisa gets a Mypod, that Krusty doesn't want anymore. It makes her very happy because she wants to be of the Mapple family, but can't afford any of their stuff, not even the fake earplugs. However, she downloads too many songs on it and is stuck with a bill she can't pay. In the mean time, Bart befriends a Muslim boy, and homer suspects the father to be a terrorist. The Burns and the Bees When the bees are dying, Lisa makes it her goal to save them. She finds a queen and lets it form a colony on her face, before eventually finding a green house to put them in. In the mean time, Mr Burns wins a basketball team over a poker game, and tries to be a fun loving owner, like the owner of the Mavericks. Because fo this he wants to build a new arena, which he decides to build at the same place as Lisa's green house Lisa the Drama Queen Lisa befriends a new girl in the rec centre called Juliet. She has a wild imagination and together they create and write the chronicles of Equalia in which they are both co-queens. Juliet however is unhappy at home and uses Equalia to escape in. At first Lisa joins in on the fantasy, but when they run away together to go to Equalia, they are being pestered by Jimbo, Kearney and Dolph. Even though through the fantasy they manage to escape, Lisa doesn't want to escape in that dream world any more, because if it wasn't for that, they wouldn't have been in a position where they met the bullies, so she breaks up her friendship. Unfortunately, Equalia is not published, as it is not what the publishing houses are looking for right now Take My Life, Please When their former class president gets a plaque on the Springfield Wall of fame, Homer becomes jealous. Lenny and Carl confess that they buried the real election outcomes on command of the principal, who in turn did it to save Homer because he would have been elected more as a bullying thing than that people actually believe in him. He wants to know what his life would be like if he had indeed won that election, and an Italian cook shows it to him in a saucepan. His life would roughly be the same, except for more money and no kids. To make him feel better about the life he has, rather than the one he could have had, the family exchange one of the plaques with one for Homer How the Test Was Won On the first day of the new school year, the kids get the news that in one month they have to take the VPATs. Superintendant Chalmers tries to cheat the test by getting all the underachievers out of the way, including Bart and Mr. Skinner. In the mean time, Homer forgets to mail the insurance payment, so for the first time in his life, he's financially responsible for his own acts. He has to stay accident free until 3 PM. No Loan Again, Naturally After a very expensive Mardi Gras party, Homer loses his house as he's been putting extra mortgages on it to pay for the festivities. Ned buys it and then rents it out to the Simpsons, so they can stay in their house. They expect too much of Ned as the owner however, so Ned decides to kick them out and rent it to another family. Gone Maggie Gone Marge burns her eyes while watching up at the sun during a solar eclipse and is blinded for 2 weeks. While gone shopping, Homer accidentally leaves Maggie on the steps of a catholic nunnery, who take her in and treat her as a holy child. Lisa infiltrates the convent, and has to solve a series of puzzles and riddles to find her baby sister. In the Name of the Grandfather When the family forgets the Senior day at the retirement home, Abe Simpson convinces them to take him to Ireland, to O'Flanagans pub to make up for it. On their arrival they find the pub on the verge of bankruptcy. In a drunken stupor Homer and Abe buy the pub, while Marge and the kids visit the country. Moe flies over to help them turn the pub into a successful business, by allowing customers to smoke. Wedding for Disaster Because of a fault at the bank, Reverend Lovejoy was not ordained for 3 months, at the time that Homer and Marge remarried. This means that Marge and Homer were not married for a while, so they have to replan their wedding. Marge turns into a bridezilla and Homer disappears on their wedding day. Eeny Teeny Maya Moe Because Maggie thinks Santa's Little Helper is her father, Marge makes Homer spend more time with her. He takes her to Moe's where they find a playground in the back. While Maggie plays in the playground, Homer drinks in the bar, but Maggie starts to be bullied. Meanwhile, Moe's met Maya, a little person, on the internet and is smitten with her. Everything goes extremely well, up until the moment where Moe makes too many little person jokes. The Good, the Sad and the Drugly While visiting grampa, Bart meets Jenny, a 5th grader. In order to impress her, Bart becomes a model citizen, helping the weak, and working with the mentally challenged (ie. Homer). However, Milhouse comes to spoil it all, by revealing what Bart is really like. Meanwhile, Lisa made a very pessimistic report on Springfield in the future. She is sent to a psychiatrist who prescribes her happy pills. Father Knows Worst Homer injures his tongue, which makes him super sensitive to taste. The only thing he can eat is the school cafeteria food. There he meets a helicopter parent, and decides to follow her lead to ensure his kids' success. Meanwhile Marge finds a sauna in her basement and decides to keep it to herself. Waverly Hills 9-0-2-1-D'oh When Marge comes into the school to use the bathroom, she sees how bad it actually is. So the Simpsons decide to rent an apartment in Waverly Hills in order to let their children go to Waverly Hills elementary. There, Lisa is no longer a brainiac, but thanks to Bart's lying about her knowing Alaska Nebraska, she becomes popular. Homer has to stay in the apartment though, because an inspector is coming to check whether they really live there. Four Great Women and a Manicure During a manicure, the Simpsons women explore some stories of strong women. First off, Queen Elizabeth and the war against Spain Secondly there's a version of Snow White Thirdly, there's the story of MacBeth, but a bit modernised, where it's about actors rather than a royal family. And lastly, there's a spin on The Fountainhead, written by Ayn Rand Coming to Homerica When the entire town of Springfield becomes sick from Krusty burgers made with Ogdenville Barley, the Barley workers lose all their jobs and come to Springfield to find new work. They start out doing all the jobs no Springfielder wants to do, but soon the town turns on them after they use the health system and bring in Aquavit. Eventually they hire the Ogdenville immigrants to build a wall to keep them out. |
