1. Love?
Background:
Here we go! Here we go! Here we go!
Keep it coming! Keep it coming! Go!
Here we go! Go! Here we go! Go! Yah!
Bart:
Ah, another summer morning,
I give myself a stretch and a yawning!
Jump outta of bed, brush my teeth,
hop in the shower, gonna make it brief!
Lather on up, rinse off the suds,
comb my hair, slip on my cool duds.
Mirror, mirror, hangin' on the wall,
tell me who's the coolest of them all?
Mirror:
Yo, Bart, though you're sometimes rude, I must say it's you!
Bart:
Thanks, dude! Now, on my skateboard, I do my travel.
Outta my way, I'm the king of the gravel!
Lookin' around for a partner in crime,
gettin' in trouble, havin' a good time.
I look all around, but no matter where I ride or roll, love is in the air!
Background:
What's this spread called love? What's this spread called love?
What's this spread called love?
Go! Go! Go! Here we go!
What's this spread called love? Here we go! Go!
What's this spread called love? Here we go!
What's this spread called love? Yah!
Bart:
The day is young,
we're trying to have fun,
watchin' lovebirds kissin' in the sun!
Where are my pals? It's really a drag...
everybody's smoochin', makin' me wanna gag!
Even the (Go!) blue jays, the swans and the sparrows,
man, Mr. (Go!) Cupid's got huge cute arrows! (?)
Stacked in his (Go!) backpack, ready to attack,
shoot 'em through (Go!) the heart, (Go!) there's (Go!) NO (Go!) turnin' (Go!) back!
Young ones, old ones, every size and shape:
if all got to Cupid, there's no escape!
Look at that park bench, right over there,
total gross-out: he's kissin' her ear!
Lucky for me, all my pals are strong,
we'll never give in, we'll never go wrong!
We'll never fall. Let 'em shove!
The Bartman's posse is immune to love!
Background:
Go! What's this spread called love? Go!
What's this spread called love? Go!
What's this spread called love! Go! Go! Go! Here we go! Go!
What's this spread called love? Here we go! Go!
What's this spread called love?
Here we go! Go! Here we go! Go! What's this spread called love?
Yah! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go!
Bart:
As I followed the yellow brick road! Wait a minute!
Whoa! Horsie! Whoa! What do I see? Do my eyes deceive me?
Move a little closer to those kids behind the tree! Oh no! Don't tell me!
It can't be true! My best friend Milhouse: traitor to the crew!
He's holding hands, he's talking sweet
with that new little girl from across the street!
He's lost his cool, his brain's gone south,
he doesn't even care that she's a metal-mouth!
Hey, c'mon Milhouse, let's get the lead out!
Probably got me stuck as weird as I'll get out! (?)
(Here we go!) What!?! OK. If that's the way you feel.
You'll never get me, the Bartman-of-Steel!
(Here we go!) I learned a lot today, man, you know,
the park is (Ya!) gettin' dark, so, yo, gotta go!
Background:
What's this spread called love? What's this spread called love?
What's this spread called love? What's this spread called love?
What's this spread called laa What's this spread called love?
What's this spread called love? What's this spread called love?
What's this spread called love? What's this spread called love?

2. Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves
Lisa:
I'm so excited, this is great! Now there was a time when we used to say that behind every great man there had to be a great woman!
Singer:
But, oh!, times have changed!
You know it's no longer true!
We're comin' out in the kitchen,
'cause there's something we've forgot to say to you!
Lisa & Singer:
Sisters are doin' it for themselves! (Oh yeah!)
Singer:
Standin' on their own two feet, and ringing on their own bells!
Lisa & Singer:
Sisters are doin' it for themselves!
Lisa:
Now this is a song to celebrate the...
Lisa & Singer:
...conscious liberation of the female state!
Singer:
Mother and her daughter, and all of their daughters too,...
Lisa & Singer:
...woman to woman...
Singer:
we're all singing along with you!
Lisa & Singer:
Sisters are doin' it for themselves!
Lisa:
Standin' on their own two feet, and ringing on their own bells!
Lisa & Singer:
Sisters are doin' it for themselves!
Singer:
We ain't making stories, we ain't layin' plans, a man still loves woman, and a woman still loves a man! Yeah!
Lisa:
This is incredible! Female power!
Lisa & Singer:
Sisters are doin' it for themselves!
Lisa:
The inferior sex has got a new exterior!
Singer:
We got doctors, lawyers, and politicians, too!
Yeah! Hey there, everybody, take a look around!
Can you see 'em, can you see 'em, can you see?
There's a woman standin' right next to you!
Lisa & Singer:
Sisters are doin' it for themselves!
Standin' on their own two feet, and ringing on their own bells!
Lisa:
Aunt Patty, Aunt Selma, come sing!
Lisa, Singers, Patty & Selma:
Sisters are doin' it for themselves! (Yeah!)
Standin' on their own two feet, and ringin' on their own bells! (Oh yeah!)
Sisters are doin' it doin' it doin it' (doin' it doin' it yeah) for themselves!
Sisters are doin' it for themselves! (Woo! Oh yeah!)
Sisters are doin' it for themselves! (Yeah! Yeah!)
Sisters are doin' it for themselves! (Ooh by myself!)
Sisters are doin' it for themselves! (Ooh!)
Sisters are doin' it for themselves!

3. Funny How Time Slips Away
Singer:
Well, hello there! My, it's been a long, long time.
How'm I doin'? Well, I guess that I'm doin' fine.
Homer:
It's been so long now, and it seems that it was only yesterday...
Singer & Homer:
Ain't it funny how time slips away?
Homer:
How's your new love? I hope that he's doin' fine.
I heard you told him that you'd love him 'til the end of time.
Singer:
Now that's the same thing that you told me, seems like just the other day.
Singer & Homer:
Ain't it funny how time slips away?
Singer:
I've got to go now.
Homer:
I guess I'll see you around. Don't know when, though...
Singer:
Never know when I'll be back in town. But remember what I do, that in time, you're gonna pay.
Singer & Homer:
It's surprisin' how time slips away! It's funny how time slips away!

4. Twenty-Four Hours a Day
Apu:
Hello, baby! It is Apu to whom you are speaking.
What's that, baby? You are proposing we have a cook-out at the beach then tear a page from the Kamasutra 'til the sun rises over the distant sea?
Sorry, baby, that's impossible: I own a convenience store and baby, you know what that's like.
Got to sell the roadmaps. Got to move the twelve packs.
I'm printin' out the tickets for the lottery.
Move out all that trail mix. Make room for the beef sticks!
Informing all the punks: "This is not a library!"
Hey! Yes, we have some string cheese!
I'll have to check those ID's!
We're running out of Happlehap and Sweet and Low! Oh!
Would you like some jerky?
It comes in beef or turkey!
You see what I am up to baby; I can't go! I'm working.
Apu & Singers:
Twenty-four hours a day! That don't leave no time left to play!
We're open twenty-four hours a day! That don't leave no time left to play!
Apu:
No! No! No! Hey, if I deserted my post, who would be refilling the jalepeno receptor? You? I don't think so.
I make coffee for the riff-raff: regular and decaf; 8 ounce, 12 ounce, 20 ounce.
One for the road, sir? Heat-lamp dogs and Cheetos, microwave burritos!
Obey the printed warning, or it's sure to explode!
I sit out front the magazines in which the subject matter's clean, behind the counter, the adult variety!
Heh! It won't help to make a fuss,
I don't make change for the bus.
To use the restroom, you must be an employee! I'm working.
Apu & Singers:
Twenty-four hours a day! That don't leave no time left to play!
We're open twenty-four hours a day! That don't leave no time left to play!
(No! No! No!) Twenty-four hours a day! That don't leave no time left to play!
(No! No!) Twenty-four hours a day-ay! That don't leave no time left to play!
Apu:
No! No! No! Yes! Yes! No! I came to this country from a far away continent with dreams to make a fortune in the movie industry!
But instead, I'm making Squishees in a checkered dress.
Oh, how I wish the camera on the ceiling wasn't just there for security!
Oh, oh! Alright, I feel much better now!
I felt a little sad there; now I'm very happy again.
Oh. Oh, this is good. Yes, I like this, this is my favorite part of the song!
Yes, my great-aunt Pirani used to dance to this.
She used to work it on out. This is very funky part now. I'm working.
Apu & Singers:
Twenty-four hours a day! That don't leave no time left to play!
We're open twenty-four hours a day! That don't leave no time left to play!
(No! No! No! No! No! No!)
Apu:
(Twenty-four hours a day!)
Hello, steady customer!
Okay, let's see...
(That don't leave no time left to play!)
that's one pack of potency vitamins, 3 tins of smokeless tobacco,
(Twenty-four hours a day!)
and one pack of honey-glazed popcorn.
That'll be...
(That don't leave no time left to play!)
nothing because you're carrying a gun!
Oh, here we go again
(Twenty-four hours a day!)
please, sir,
I ask that if you tie me up, you use the nylon rope;
(That don't leave no time left to play!)
it feels so much softer against my skin than the other kind. Yes,
(Twenty-four hours a day!)
you'll find it in back between the video games and the non-dairy creamer.
Please, sir,
(That don't leave no time left to play! No! No! No! No! No! No!)
oh, thank you very much.
Okay, have a nice day! Come again!

5. Ten Commandments of Bart
Bart:
Ha ha ha ha ha!
Singers:
Thou shall have fun! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Thou shall have fun!
Thou shall have fun! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Thou shall have fun!
Bart:
Ladies and gentlemen, hello, it's Bart again.
Here to mention rules that I'd like to recommend 'cause like it or lump it, this is Simpson-style, and this I demand:
Don't touch that dial! I got your attention, so you'd better listen up!
Dance if you must, but please don't interrupt!
'Cause the singing I'm slayin' comes straight from the heart.
I call this little song "The Ten Commandments of Bart".
Singers:
Thou shall have fun! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Thou shall have fun!
Thou shall have fun! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Thou shall have fun!
Bart:
Let us begin with commandment number ten:
thou shalt be sure to shake your big rear end.
Shake it for your mama, and shake it for when you wanna party-harty and you're down in the den!
Getting funky in the rumpus room would be kinda hip.
You bring the chips, I'll bring the bean dip.
By this, I mean shake your bootius maximus,
make everybody happy, give them satisfactimus!
Now comes a time for commandment number nine.
It's goes something like this: thou shalt always make rhymes.
'Cause rhyming is a way, man, to make your own news.
Better than CNN, better than Family Values.
Don't get me misconstrued, I'm not tryin' to be crude,
but a bad attitude will put you in a good mood.
It ain't true that our culture's in a decile,
just listen to the super-fine, spine-shaking bass line.
Now you're itchin' and twitchin' to this mucho bewitchin',
the hip-hop tune that I'm presently hatchin'.
Hold on to your hats, because here come the scratchin'!
Who did that? Let's cruise, shall we now, to commandment number eight,
goes exactly like this: thou shall procrastinate!
Put another way, this means you must be late,
whenever you can, make everybody wait.
When homework is due, don't give in to fate.
Do say: teacher, guess what, the dog ate it.
Of all the commandments, none can be greater...
if you want more details, come back later!
Singers:
Thou shall have fun! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Thou shall have fun!
Thou shall have fun! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Thou shall have fun!
Bart:
Moving right along, here's commandment number seven:
thou shall go wild, 'cause you'll never get to heaven.
You don't say "no". You do say "yo!".
You hear bad songs, turn up on the radio.
Then, when you're dead, Fred, where you gonna go?
You're going down low, where the rocks grow.
The whole scene looks like a heavy metal video except no guitars.
'Cause, wouldn't ya know, it's swell down in hell except he never plays the banjo.
Ha ha ha ha ha!
Next up here is commandment number six, it goes like this:
thou shall dance like lunatics.
Try to get movin' and shakin' and groovin'
and hoppin' and moppin' and flippity-floppin'.
Hey, what happened? Beat box is broke.
Maggie, come here quick, I'm starting to choke.
Come on girl, here's the deal, I'm really stuckin',
I need your help, so please start suckin'.
Oh, yeah, that's it, that's what I require,
an inspired baby sister with an ultra-hip pacifier.
And now we arrive to commandment number five.
Short and sweet: thou shall be alive.
Take off your pants, strut around in the nude.
If somebody sees you, say "What's happenin', dude?".
Oh, yeah, now we're starting to soar.
The countdown continues: commandment number four!
I say unto you thou shall slam the door.
Wake up the neighbours, that's what it's for.
Slam it again. Slam it some more.
Now you got a beat that never happened before.
Singers:
Thou shall have fun! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Thou shall have fun!
Thou shall have fun! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Thou shall have fun!
Bart:
Which brings us on to commandment number three:
thou shall question authority.
'Cause authority hates curiosity,
which leads straight to originality.
From there, my friends, spontaneity.
And the downward spots straight to mockery.
Then a hop and a skip to mutiny.
Then mutiny leads to anarchy.
Then e...
Homer:
Bart! Knock it off! Turn it down!
Bart:
Okay, okay. Here's commandment number two:
thou shall do exactly what you wanna do.
Get a tattoo, eat a honeydew,
raid a taboo, paint your head blue.
If you're bald, go buy a toupee.
If you're starved, go eat a souflee.
If you're crazy, get on a subway.
If you're bored, stand on a freeway.
If you're sexy, put on negligee.
'Cause this is what I have to say:
hurray for horseplay, gotta have horseplay.
Besides that, man, ih, what the hay!
And now, at last it's commandment number one.
Put quite simply, thou shall have fun!
Singers:
Thou shall have fun! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Thou shall have fun!
Thou shall have fun! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Thou shall have fun!
Thou shall have fun! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Thou shall have fun!
Thou shall have fun! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Thou shall have fun!
Thou shall fun!
Lisa:
That was pretty cool, huh? Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

6. I Just Can't Help Myself
Chorus:
I just can't help myself
I just can't help myself
I just can't help myself
I just can't help myself
Go, Go, Go...
I just can't help myself
Bart:
There I go, here I go, where I go, I don't know
I just can't help myself, so
Why do I do, what I do, when I do
Well I can say so or I just don't know
Boys will be boys and what they usually say
That's the how and the why, that I act this way
That's the end of the line, I run out of rhyme
That ain't no crime so it's milk it out time (??)
Let's do, I know it's some cosmic force
Cause in my mind, you go,
Just wait out of course to another dimension
not only of site and sound
But of being a clown
Or an alley cat, or a dirty rat
or a loud mouth brat
Well, I am all that
So if you ask me, why
I'm always in such a mess,
Ha, I just can't help myself
Chorus:
Can't help me,
I just can't help myself
Can't help me,
I just can't help myself
Can't help me,
I just can't help myself
Can't help me,
I just can't help myself
Go, go, go, go,...
I just can't help myself
I just can't help myself
Lisa:
A very great lady, once said it right
A woman needs a man, like a fish needs a bike,
(haha), There I go again sister know it all
No friends at all, cause I make them crawl
I can help showing off, all that I know
The whats can do, well is the where's I could go
I know, it's makes the family very uptight
I know, it isn't right, but I do it every night.
I'm probably don't belong here,
I'm certainly were wrong here
Every night I have a dream, more like a nightmare
I see myself being born, Mum and dad are there,
But it's not Marge and it's not Homer,
Switched in a cradle, no wonder I'm a goner,
I feel like a book, that's on the wrong shelve,
I know, I shouldn't think it, but
I just can't help myself
Chorus:
Can't help me,
I just can't help myself
Can't help me,
I just can't help myself
Can't help me,
I just can't help myself
Can't help me,
I just can't help myself
Just can't help myself,
I just can't help myself
I just can't help myself
(go, go, go, go ...)
I just can't help myself
I just can't help myself
I just can't help myself
I just can't help myself
I just can't help myself
Homer:
Hey, you know, I kinda like this thing
It's sort of like music, but you don't have to sing
You got none of the work, and all of the fun
Like a low cal donut or a fat free bun
By the way, that's reminds me, how about a snack
just a small sandwich or a cold six-pack
A big pack of pork rinds that couldn't' hurt
A cake for dessert
Will keep my mind alert
Oh, it takes a lot of energy to do this rap
I feel kinda sleepy, better take a nap
Not too long a nap, two hours, that's a winner
I wouldn't wanna sleep to a a roast beef dinner,
Roast beef with gravy and potatoes
Hot rolls and butter
Lettuce and tomatoes
I know, I shouldn't eat it
I got to keep my health
What's the hey,
Chorus:
Can't help me,
I just can't help myself
Can't help me,
I just can't help myself
Can't help me,
I just can't help myself
Go, go, go, go, go ...
Just can't help myself
I just can't help myself
I just can't help myself

7. She's Comin' Out Swingin'
Unfortunately I'm still working on this one...It's surprisingly hard to get.  I have the sung parts right I think...and with a  little repeats you have most of the song I think.  Well here's what I got, but there are lots of gaps and mistakes.  Some help on this would be very welcome

Man:
Are you ready girl?
Lisa:
Ok OK, holding my breath here
Man:
I'll show you when to come in ok
Lisa:
OK. I'm a little nervous
Man:
It's cool, it's cool just chill for a minute. A big horn you got there girl
Lisa:
(giggles) yeah well, I got a big lung
Man:
*Woo* That's just a dog in there. It happens now and then
Lisa:
(laughs)
Man:
Yo Yo what the hells' going on, little big girl with a whole lot blowin' on. Little Lisa and the whole girl jazzy funk band, give her a hand:
Women:
(a whole bunch of muttering I can't decipher)
1 2 3 4 Everybody out on the floor
Ain't nothing but a funky head riff I ain't sung out to even the score
Got my back up against the wall
I'm fooling to fall
I just win...I'm coming out swinging
Man:
Walking on a wing and a prayer
That's enough for me right there
cause I'm still me
All:
I'm coming out swinging
Men:
The race is on again
and I'm gonna win
Ain't nothing gonna stop me
from finishing
Man:
so same thing
Women:
you earned the right just steal the show
you got the crowd saying Go Girl Go
give her a hole and might you blow
she's got good rhythm
she's got good rhythm
Man:
(another bunch of stuff I can't decipher)
Man:
Well alright, are you ready sister Lisa
Lisa:
Oh no I'm not sure it'd be appropriate
Man:
Last chance
Lisa:
Dr Funkenstein, I appreciate you getting me envolved but...OK
I got my back up against the wall
I'm too mean to fall
I'll just win
I got my back up against the wall
I'm to mean to fall
I'll just win
I'm coming out swinging
Women:
I'm comin out swinging
Lisa:
I got my back up against the wall
I'm to mean to fall
I'll just win
I'm coming out swinging
Woman:
I'm coming out swinging (scatting)
Man:
The race is on again
and I'm gonna win
Ain't nothing in the world gonna keep me
from finishing
Walking on a wing and a prayer
that's enough for me right there
cause I'm so mean
Lisa:
The race is on again
and I'm gonna win
Ain't nothing in the world gonna keep me
from finishing
(Talk about how much she's loving it and jokes about going on the road with it, and having to get a union card and stuff)

8. Anyone Else
Lisa:
Hey, what do you hiding under that funny hair,
I know the light are on, but there's nobody there,
I need a new life, I need a new next of kin,
So I've got news for you, brother:
I'm trading you in.
Lisa & Chorus:
For anyone else, in the world, I'd rather have than you
anyone else in the whole, wide world would do,
somebody who'd be a friend in need,
somebody who would care about me.
anyone else in the whole, wide world would do,
Bart:
(makes a loud whistle)
Hey, little Miss Perfect, who made you the queen?
Who said it was cool to be so squeaky clean, oh, man,
I need a playmate, someone, who knows, how do I have some fun.
So I've got news for you, sister your time has come, your time has come
Bart & Chorus:
anyone else, in the world, I'd rather have than you,
anyone else in the hole, wide world would do,
somebody who's got a radical mind
over the edge and way out of line
anyone else in the hole wide world would do.
Lisa:
I'm gonna trade you in
hmm, yeah, I'm gonna trade you in
you know you to much to take, your completely deranged
I'd sell you for a dime and get nine cents change
Bart:
I wouldn't take any money, that's a loosing bet,
I trade you in, for anyone I could get,
Lisa:
anything I could get,
Bart:
anytime I could get it.
Lisa:
anywhere I could get it.
Lisa, Bart and Chorus:
Anyone else, in the world, I'd rather have than you
For anyone else, in the world, I'd rather have than you
anyone else in the whole, wide world would do,
somebody who'd be a friend in need,
somebody who would care about me.
anyone else in the whole, wide world,
anyone else, in the world, I'd rather have than you.
anyone else in the whole, wide world, would do.
somebody who'd be a friend in need,
somebody who would care about me.
anyone else in the whole, wide world,
anyone else, in the world, I'd rather have than you...

9. Every Summer With You
Homer:
Don't have a cabin in the Poconos
Marge:
Don't have a place at the beach
Homer:
I'd love to shuffle of to buffalo
Marge:
Its just a little out of a reach
Homer:
Oh, but I don't need a holiday
as long as you here with me.
Homer, Marge & Chorus:
Winters gone, its spring again
One thing, I know its true
All my life I want to spend
Every summer with you
Every summer with you.
Marge:
Hey, Homey, I have a idea, what do you think about this?
Atlantic City by the shiny sea
Homer:
Yeah, just a little to far away
Marge:
Oh, well, how about Orlando in a new RV.
Homer:
Mhh, I like it, but who's gonna pay?
Marge:
Hey, right it doesn't matter, where we go
It doesn't matter, if we stay.
Homer, Marge & Chorus:

We don't care, if it's a cloudy day.
Its only weather.
Homer:
And later on, when we're old and gray
And lady luck has finely come away
We'll take a trip to San Diego Bay
Homer & Marge:

Homer:
Oh, it'd be great, Marge
Marge:
Oh, it would be so nice.
Homer:
Sea World, an they have a zoo with more apes, than you can imagine.
Marge:

Marge:
I'm right behind you.
Homer:
All right, let's see...
Marge:
Where is it?
Homer:
Lets see, take route 35, then we'll stop here to eat. And then, get of at 6 and then stop there to eat.
Marge:
<snickering>
Homer:
and then, we stop here to eat.

10. Hail to Thee, Kamp Krusty
Krusty:
(spoken)Hi, everybody, I'm Krusty, the Klown, Hoohoohahahaha,
And I'd like to welcome the parents and all the closest living relative
To Kamp Krusty,
On "parents and all the closest living relatives"-day
We're gonna begin by singing the Kamp-Krusty-Song
And then later, as a treat, some of the specially selected campers
(ones who could sing), will sing it in their own special way
Take it away maestro!
Huhuuhuhahaha
All:
Hail to thee Kamp Krusty
By the shores of Big Snake Lake.
Though your swings are rusty,
We know they'll never break.
From your gleaming mess hall,
To your hallowed baseball field,
And your spick and span infirmary,
Where all our wounds are healed.
Hail to thee, Kamp Krusty,
Below Mount Avalanche.
We will always love Kamp Krusty.
Homer: I'd love to shuffle of to buffalo
Bart:
(spoken)Lets rock this party, come on Otto Man:
Otto:
Yaaaaaaah, hehehe, yeah, Whooh,
Hail to thee Kamp Krusty,
I'm the transportation dude
I got the gig when they saw my sign.
It said: "I will work for food."
So, hail
Yeah hail, alright hail, take 'em away 'lil Lisa.
Lisa:
Hail to thee Kamp Krusty,
With your frequent moose attacks
There are skunks, in half the bunks
But at least I've got my sax.
And I like to play.
OK, Martin, dazzle 'em.
Martin:
A pox on thee Kamp Krusty,
I came here to lose weight,
A fate most cruel, they fed me gruel
And stuff that looks like bait
Oh, and pox of thee Clown Krusty,
Your behavior gives us pause.
Your heart is hard, you have no regard
For the state's child labour laws.
A pox on thee Kamp Krusty.
We are uning to be free
We will never return to Kruhusteehee
Bart:
Ah, put a lid on it, Martin, lets rock this camp.
I hate it!
All:
Kamp Krusty!
Bart:
Can stand it!
All:
Kamp Krusty!
Bart:

All:

Bart:
